Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly met on the set of A Beautiful Mind in 2001. Both were already in relationships, so they limited themselves to a close friendship, eventually spending hours on the phone with each other. Many months later, when both had ended their previous relationships, they started dating. They were married in a private ceremony in Scotland on New Year's Day, 2003, and spent their honeymoon relaxing with friends and family and playing Twister. In August 2003, their son Stellan was born.

Paul and Jennifer seem to be incredibly in love with each other. One interviewer wrote that Jennifer "melts instantly into a gushing, glowing newlywed. Her smile will not disappear. She continuously blushes. The transformation is lovely to behold."

Why "half a dime"? Because Paul made a necklace for each of them, made of... you guessed it. Two halves of a dime. ;)
