The Independent has a new interview with Paul about Inkheart, Bees, and Creation.

Inkheart is going to be screened at the Dubai International Film Festival, which runs from December 11-18.  No word on which (if any) of the actors will be there.  Click here for more info.

Jennifer Connelly is on the cover of the new issue of Marie Claire (US).  They ask her to talk about things she loves.  Here are some tidbits relating to Paul and the boys:

Family photographs. “Right over my bed I’ve stuck on a black-and-white photo-booth strip of Paul, Kai, and Stelli, and another of Kai and Stelli with my dad.” (Connelly’s father passed away in September.)  [Is this the family emergency that kept Paul from attending the Bees premiere in Toronto?  What a sad loss for Jennifer and the family.]

Visiting Africa’s Kalahari Desert with her family. “We all walked away from each other and lay down on the sand.  It’s crusty, like salt flats.  We were just silent for a while.”

Camping. “We all cram into our little tent – even our dog, Pip, an Australian shepherd.  She’s got a little saddlebag, and she carries the pots and pans, and she goes clunk clunk clunk all the way up the mountain.”

Stellan’s beaded necklace. “Kai made it for him, and he’s been wearing it for two-and-a-half years now.  He also wears a necklace of mine.  My son is completely bejeweled.”

In case you missed it in the gallery updates, there’s a publicity still from Creation – featuring both Paul and Jennifer – that shows the Darwins on a beach.  (And apparently, younger Darwin does NOT sport that scary/hilarious haircut we saw in the on-set candids recently.  Yay!)
