I don’t even know what to make of this, except that it’s pretty funny and a good glimpse of what Paul and Jennifer have to deal with when they go out. Click here to watch the video, which shows Paul and Jennifer being mobbed by paparazzi as they left New York’s Waverly Inn last night. And Paul is wearing boxing gloves….
(I think this video shows why we don’t post paparazzi photos on PBnet)
Casting news everywhere lately! Variety reports that Paul has been cast as the archangel Michael in the thriller Legion. Sounds like this movie could court controversy. *grins*
Quite a few of you participated in the 2006 birthday project, in which we donated 173 pounds (about $330) to UNICEF UK after Paul did a public service message for the organization that year.
This year we’re at it again! We’re going to raise money for the organization that Heath Ledger was most involved in, the David Wirrpanda Foundation, “promoting strong role models and healthy life choices for indigenous children” in Australia.
The deadline to be included in PBnet’s group donation is May 15, 2008. The funds raised will be transferred by Serina Huynh (PB.net’s admin in Australia) to the Foundation on Paul’s birthday, May 27, noted “In Honor of Paul Bettany and In Memory of Heath Ledger.”
The person who makes the biggest total donation will receive a Paul movie of their choice on DVD (assuming it’s available in their region).
If you feel uncomfortable sending your payment to be included in PBnet’s group donation, we hope you will still use the “support” link on the DWF’s website and send a gift of your own.
As I’m sure you can tell, PBnet has a brand-new layout! I was really tired of the old one, and I hope you like the new one. If anything looks funny, you might need to reload your browser.
