Looking at the site’s stats, I saw that someone found PBnet by doing a search for “definition of fonging.”
Whoever you are, if you’re still looking, read the Knight’s Tale commentary with Brian Helgeland and Paul:
Paul: Does it? It’s an actual word?
Brian: Yeah. It means “to kick.”
Paul: So that’s how you got away with it. Cause it does… it does bring to mind another expletive.
Brian: Yeah, but it’s not. In fact, I was questioned about it for the airline version, and I assured everyone that it means to kick.
Australia’s Herald Sun has an article about Russell Crowe’s phone-throwing incident last year, and how it might have cost him an Oscar nomination for Cinderella Man. The article mentions that Paul said he would be “appalled” if this were true.
Da Vinci Code author Dan Brown is on trial in England over accusations that he stole the ideas for his book from the authors of Holy Blood, Holy Grail, a nonfiction book published in the 1980s. Brown already won a case last year over a man who claimed copyright infringement and wanted to block the publication of the book and the release of the movie. This new trial started today and should continue into next week. Thanks to Sue for the heads-up.
I just finished redoing the Master and Commander screencaps, and there are now 482 in all (what can I say? I’m a Stephen Maturin fangirl). So now I’m finished remaking all the screencaps I wasn’t happy with. Yay!
Monks at Moviehole has an update on recent movie rumors, including this bit:
I’ve redone all the screencaps of the Master and Commander special features and deleted scenes. There are a lot more, and they’re somewhat better quality. Next up: A Beautiful Mind. =)
Well, this is kind of Paul-related. Warner Bros. announced today that production on The Blood Diamond has started in South Africa, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Connelly. I assume this means that Paul is in SA now as well.
MSN has a short Da Vinci Code movie clip from the Today Show. It features Robert and Sophie talking about one of the codes. You need Explorer 6+ to watch.
