Added 369 screencaps from Inkheart.
Inkheart is released on DVD today in the US. I’ll probably be making screencaps this weekend.
Screencaps from the Broken Lines trailer are here. These aren’t the best because I had to make them while the video played. When you pause a shot, the video player puts a pause symbol over the video.
Screencaps from the Creation trailer are in the gallery here. If you encounter server errors, just reload the page. I know it’s annoying, but as explained below, we’ll have to be patient for a while. Thanks!
Thanks to Yoyo for finding this trailer for Broken Lines. It looks like Paul is so great in it! I hope someday we get to see it.
Everybody, sorry for the recent trouble in accessing the site. Our server is struggling under a lot of traffic because a Twilight actor has been cast alongside Paul in Priest and because I run another fan site for a character from True Blood, and that show just premiered its second season this weekend. I don’t have the money to buy a server, so our hosting will have to do. Please be patient; it will all die down soon, and the site should go back to running normally. Thanks.
The Telegraph has posted the trailer for Creation! It looks great. Maybe Paul will finally be nominated for an Oscar for this one. Screencaps will be up soon.
Paul has been confirmed to star in Priest. From the Hollywood Reporter:
Adapted by Cory Goodman from a TokyoPop comic book, “Priest” is set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires and follows a warrior priest (Bettany) who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece.
QuietEarth.us quotes director Scott Stewart describing his upcoming film Legion:
“I conceived LEGION more as a comic book action movie than a straight horror film. Despite the obvious horror elements, my primary influence when writing it was less DAWN OF THE DEAD or 28 DAYS LATER, and more the original TERMINATOR with its blend of intense action and inventive mythology.
Stylistically, I intend to ground the fantastic nature of the story in a gritty and realistic visual style. I want the audience to feel like they’ve been dropped right in the middle of the action, so they, like the characters in the film, experience the terror and chaos in a very direct and visceral way. In that regard, the best visual comparison to LEGION are not other horror films but contemporary war films like PLATOON and SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.”
Major SPOILER alert – if you click through to the article, they have also posted an extensive plot outline of the film.
Today we wish a very happy 38th birthday to Paul Bettany! *toasts*
